Meet Ava! She is such a delightful little girl. Full of spunk and talk back! I couldn't imagine my life without her. Unlike my previous pet that I lost to old age in 2018 she was a toy poodle, (I will share more about her in a later post), Ava suffers from canine anxiety. Not to mention she also gets (motion) car sickness, whenever we go on road trips. Despite her minor quirks she is loved and treated like a little princess. Her breed is a Yorkshire Terrier, affectionately known as Yorkies. They are small dogs, typically weighing between 4 to 7 pounds. Ava, weighs in about 5.5 pounds. Yorkshire terriers have a silky long coat that comes in a blue and tan coloration. They are full of intelligence and easy to train. Although, I deal with stubborness and talk back, training with consistency is satisfying. Even though, I am guilty of not taking walks with her everyday, she gets a lot of exercising and playtime in the house going up and down the stairs, and chasing her male counterpart (whom you will meet soon).
To sum it up Yorkies are wonderful dogs that have brought me much joy and companionship. They may be small in size, but they have big personalities and a lot of love to give. If you're considering adding a Yorkshire Terrier to your family, be prepared for a loyal and affectionate companion that will bring a smile to your face every day.

See ya later..
